Buddhist teacher Michael Stone talks about the essence of non-attachment as engagement: Fixed and rigid ideas are the enemy of intimacy and really what shut down relationships. And since we’re living at a time when we don’t need any more ideologies and philosophies, what we really need is a way to let go and drop in to the truth of the way things are…and that includes both the beautiful and also what’s devastating.

So if you care to find me, look to the Western sky.

As someone told me lately, everyone deserves a chance to fly.
